Section 1: Attention guests of previous events
Please note that this is a completely new database. If you've attended a previous meet, you will still need to create a new account in the system.
Section 2: Editing or Making Changes
This year, we've made it possible to edit the master account record once it's been created. Please note that once an attendee is PAID for, editing will no longer be allowed to prevent unauthorized transfer of meet tickets.
Section 3: Kids Room Information
At the event we will provide a room for kid activities. Fred Block, MagicMeets, or any of the many MagicMeets volunteers as a whole "cannot" and "will not" be responsible for anyone's child. Parents are responsible for the well being of their own children. This is important and we cannot emphasize it enough. Please know and understand this if you have children attending with you. We hope you all understand our need to say this.
Section 4: Payment Options
This year, we are exclusively using PayPal for registration payments.
No checks. No cash. No money orders. No livestock. (hehe)
Section 5: Refund Policy
For the 2008 MagicMeets event, we will allow a 50% refund for any person that has already paid and needs to cancel prior to May 15th, 2008. After that date there will be no refunds. If for some reason you cannot attend, you may transfer your admission to someone else (See Section 7 for details) but we will not be able to refund your money.
Section 6: Ticket Information
The master record in the Registration System is the responsibility of the person that signs up and creates a username and password for the account. After creating the master record you are the only one that can access it and add/remove additional attendees.
VERY IMPORTANT: Please be aware that the person creating the master record in the registration system is responsible for payment of all added attendees. If you don't want that, simply have each person register individually.
Please also note that on the day of the event, you MUST have a ticket in hand and the names on the ticket must be of those in your party for you to gain attendance to the event.
We "do not" have the ability to do walkups on the actual day of the event. Again, we repeat, please do not show up on the day of the event without a pre-paid registration ticket as you will not be permitted to enter.
Section 7: Transfers
First and foremost, "NO" tickets can be transferred "OR" sold without Fred Block's prior "written" consent. This is something we put in place to prevent ticket scalping. That being said, master record holders can sell or donate their paid admission to another interested party on our waiting list for no more than the price they paid for that ticket. MagicMeets and Fred Block reserves the right to refuse a transfer for any reason at our sole discretion.\
New for 2008: NO TICKET TRANSFERS WILL BE PERMITTED AFTER JULY 1, 2008. If for some reason you need to transfer your ticket, please make sure that you do so well before this date.
If you have tickets you wish to transfer to another party, please contact fred@magicmeets.com and we will go to the waiting list for people that want tickets. We will give you that person's email address for you to contact and finalize the transfer. We request that this process be done as quickly as possible to prevent a delay in the transaction.
Section 8: Information we collect
We promise that the information gathered in the registration system will be used solely for MagicMeets events and will not be shared with any other parties that are not related to MagicMeets functions. To report any abuse or violations of this policy, please send email to
